An estimated 48.8 million Americans , including 16.2 million children, live in households that lack the means to get enough nutritious food on a regular basis. But access to fresh rescued food means and nourishment – especially to hungry children.
Whether it is distributing Emergency Food Boxes during the holidays, providing nutritious, vitamin-rich, fresh fruits and vegetables, or helping underfed children through member agency programs, Feeding America’s Children is dedicated to relieving hunger to as many of our nation’s precious children as we can. Last year alone, Feeding America’s Children provided 13 regional food rescue organizations in 9 states with over 1.1 million pounds of food.
For $10,000 or more you can fully fund a feeding project for a community or a village. 98% of the funds goes to feeding projects.
